She/Her

Now a days, what triggers the most my curiosity as a creator and performer, is the interweaving between different art disciplines. I find myself in a phase of life in which I am starving for exploration and research, as if I was experiencing exuviation to get to know my most authentic self.

Originally coming from Italy, Stella (1998) is a freelance FLINTA* movement artist with a major focus in contemporary dance and performance currently based in Stuttgart, Germany.

Stella started to make her first steps in the dance world at a very young age: in fact when she was 13 years old she moved to Cannes to begin her studies at the Ecole Superieure de danse de Cannes de Rosella Hightower where she eventually received her High School Diploma after five years of studies.


At the age of 18 she decided to deeper her knowledges in contemporary dance and consequently, after positively passing an admission exam, she begins her studies at the University of Arts of Zurich (ZhdK) for a Bachelor in Contemporary Dance. During this time, she had the opportunity to work with internationally renowned choreographer such as Itzik Galili, Ishan Rustem, Barak Marshall, Michael Schumacher, Jasmin Morand among others. 

From September 2018 till July 2022, Stella has been a member of Tanz Theater Pforzheim: here she had the chance to develop as an artist and as human by being part of the creations of the director Guido Markowitz and co-director Damian Gmür and other choreographers such as Edan Gorliki, Sebastian Abarbanell and Gil Kerer. Duringthese four years, she had the opportunity to discover what a life in a dance company feels like, she learned what it truly means to work in a team, how to hold on specific responsibilities and how to manage stressful situations.

Since August 2022, Stella started her career as a freelance dancer deciding to take as a home base the city of Stuttgart, being a city that she has been living close to for multiple years already and feeling the necessity to give her contribution in its artistic life.
Since then, she worked and collaborated with multiple artist that all contributed to her development as a person and as an artist.

From September 2022 on, Stella has begun the fruitful collaboration with Elena Cattardico, with whom has created and performed: "Noi, Cinema Paradiso" performed in Metropol Kino for the event Interventionen 2022 produced by FTTS, Stuttgart, "Teatro Olimpico" in occasion of the exhibition "PF8 - Pforzheims Partnerstädte“ im EMMA-Kreativzentrum (Pforzheim), “Un capriccio” performed at the Cultur Nacht at Produktion Zentrum in Stuttgart and their most recent creation “APNEA” performed in the Wasserspeicher in Stuttgart in Occasion of the event Interventionen 2023 produced by FTTS.Most recently, they had the awesome opportunity to be invited at the Biennale the danse Abdjan (Ivory Coast, Africa) for an artistic residency to conclude the piece In the country of last things: chapter 2, a piece choreographed by Elena in co-collaboration with the performer Stella.

In order to combine her passion with the art world, in November 2021, Stella completed a Master in Arts and Culture Management at the Rome Business School.
